Tip Truck Owners Section of NSW
The Tip Truck Owners Section of NSW is looking to recruit new and existing members this year. It is important if you are a Tip Truck Owner, to be a member of this group.
The current award rate's for bogie tipper hire is $89.89 phr pus GST, Truck and Dog hire is $139.83 phr plus GST. These rates have become possible due to the work the of TTOS in conjunction with TWU.
During the past few years when diesel prices reached $1.80/ $1.90 per litre the TTOS and TWU fought to raise the award hourly rates so that the tip truck owners were able to meet the costs of running their trucks and also earn an adequate living. Whether you own a fleet of trucks or you are an owner driver these rates benefit everyone. Without the strong membership support these rates could cease to exist. Our industry will not be as strong as it could be.
There are other services that the TWU and TTOS can provide for members. Please consider joining this year. You will be invited to attend meetings and have your say on important issues.
